– I ordered from busystone.io and it was fairly easy to order directly via the website. There was a little bit of additional work required but there are steps to follow on the website which made it a breeze.
– Busy and the team take their time to QC each and every garment ensuring that all measurements are within tolerances. As a result, this meant that delivery took a bit longer. I think this demonstrates the pride Busy and his team takes in their work and should be looked as a positive and not a negative. Have a think and consider if other rep makers are being as meticulous.

Packaging
– The garment arrived in a very durable plastic bag with the SI logo. A lovely touch which is rarely seen among other rep makers and creates a more premium feel.

Garment
– The jumper's construction is excellent; there is clear attention to detail and the colour change works extraordinarily fast. There is a good amount of weight to the garment and is sure to keep you warm in cold weather.
– Upon opening my package there were small areas of purple which quickly changed to turquoise from the room temperature. The thermo sensitive yarn that has been used is of the highest quality. Placing a suitably cold item on the jumper will cause it to change within a few seconds and the reverse process is the same.
– While inspecting the jumper, I found that there were no loose threads and stitching was pretty much flawless. This is exactly what I would expect for any garment at this price point. Good to see that corners are not being cut and care is taken during construction.
– The inside material is soft and ensures that the jumper is comfortable to wear. This layer acts as a buffer and ensures that the wool doesn't scratch against the body in any manner.

Badge
– The design of the badge looks pretty much spot on, definitely a much higher quality rep. The compass is centered correctly and there are the correct drop stitches.
– The colours of the special process badge are slightly off compared to a retail badge. The two tone is a lot more subtle on a retail badge where the lighter colour on this rep is too light.
– The back material feels slightly different on the rep but not massively at all. Further there are very minor issues with stitching on the back. These points are moot as they cannot be seen while wearing the garment.
– The buttons are the correct SI engraved badges, they may feel a little loosely attached but observing the sewing method I can see that they are secure. With this method, there will always be a bit of movement but they will stay in place.

Size Comparison
– When overlaying the size M on the size S it can be seen that the M has a smaller pit to pit measurement. I would typically expect that all smalls would be smaller than a medium however, it is stated that there is a tolerance of 1-3cm. On the other hand, at this price point, the argument could be made for tighter tolerances.
– The S has a larger pit to pit measurement of about 54.5cm. The size chart states that an S should be 52cm but this puts it within tolerance of 1-3cm.
– The M has a a pit to pit measurement of 52cm where the size chart states that this should be 54cm. Once again, this is within tolerance.
Verdict
– I am very impressed with this piece. It is an excellently built garment with clear consideration of the original design. The colour is beautiful and it's amazing to have a colourway that was an extremely limited run of about 15 pieces. Massive respect to Busy and the team for pulling this off.
– The colour change is incredible. It is very reactive and quick changing. This mimics retail, no cheaping out on quality here whatsoever.
– The badge is very good, one of the better ones I have seen. The differences noted would be hard to notice in person. I would like to see an improvement with the thread of the lighter colour to match closer to retail.

– Sizing can be a bit of an issue, and in my case, everything was within tolerances. I'm aware all garments are QC'd so this should be the case. It is a bit unfortunate that someone can order a size S and receive a M and vice versa. In the rep world you will find that all measurements are given within tolerances and so this is part of the game. If measurements are very strict, and you want a certain fit, I would suggest buying with an agent so they can measure it for you before you get it. (The size small, which comes in as a medium, is up for sale so please drop me a message if you're interested. UK preferred and I can send next day RM delivery by 1pm.)
– Overall I am amazed by Busystone and the team, their quality seems unmatched, especially with regards to their R&D. I appreciate the time and effort they put in showcasing their garments with professional photo shoots and accompanying videos. It is clear they have taken things up a massive notch and I am very much looking forward to their next releases – I will certainly be buying a few more.
